Rates
$7.00 minimum for the first fifteen (15) words and 5 cents for each
word thereafter. All printed classified ads are placed on the Internet
for FREE.

Print classified advertising
can be billed to commercial accounts. Tear sheets are not available for
classified, but whole issues can be sent upon request
for $1.50 each. The billing charge for classified advertising is $1.00
minimum.

Minimum order is $18.00. One
column inch display ads must run 3 weeks minimum. Front page ad depth
must exceed width with maximum 4 inch depth; advanced scheduling is required.
The Discount
Regular discounts are allowed only on display advertising that runs
4 consecutive weeks and is paid before billing due date. Discounts taken
after due date will not be credited. Contract discounts for volume advertising
are available. Super Standard Special includes discount.
Zone Ads
Display and Classified advertisements can be place for Local, Regional
and Pacific Northwest distribution. Mechanical requirements and deadlines
may vary.
National/Agency Rates
Rates vary with size, frequency and distribution. Color is available.
Separate Rates are available to Advertising Agencies allowing commission.
The Exchange is an audited newspaper, eligible for co-op reimbursement.
Mechanical Requirements
6 columns, 15 inches vertical, 10 inches horizontal; 91/2
pica (15/8 inches) column, 1 pica gutter. Adobe Acrobat PDF
files are acceptable as camera ready artwork via e-mail.
Guidelines & Information
We will not be responsible for omissions or errors except to the
maximum extent of the cost of the first insertion of the ad. We reserve
the right to categorize, edit and refuse ads. No classified ads accepted
with special spacing, capitalization, headings, stars, etc. No ads accepted
postage due. No tear sheets or receipts provided by mail for classified
ads. $1.50 postage and handling for single copies of paper.
Qualifications
The Exchange reserves the right to refuse ads which are contrary
to its policies and is not liable for the condition of the advertised
articles or for composition errors. The Exchange will not be responsible
for error in copy beyond adequate consideration for the error commensurate
with the space utilized. Neither the Exchange nor its advertisers intends
prejudice because of age, creed, disability, origin or sex.
Exchange Publishing is
locally owned and operated in Spokane, Washington. It's regional shopper,
The Exchange Nickel Want Ads, is published weekly in print and
electronic editions. It's all breed horse magazine, Horse Previews,
is published monthly in print and electronic editions. The Exchange is
a proud member of Pacific Northwest Association of Want Ad Newspapers.
